Join International Author and Yoga Instructor, Rachel Zinman for an immersion of health and wellness.

Rachel brings 25 years of teaching to her workshops which weave in aspects of yoga, ayurveda and mindfulness. Rachel is currently spearheading the application of yoga practices for balancing the effects of Diabetes on a daily basis, and recently released her book, Yoga for Diabetes to great acclaim.


On Sunday November, 19th, Rachel will host two workshops at The Studio’s downtown location:


Living Wellness, Yoga and Ayruveda for Healthful Resilience

In this session you will learn:

  • How to determine your individual constitution (with an ayurvedic questionnaire).
  • Specific postures, breathing and meditation practices to build immunity.
  • How Yoga and Ayurveda can support you in reaching optimal health.
  • A set sequence which can be done as a home practice every day to clear blocked energy and rebuild strength from the inside out.


Yoga for Diabetes:

In this session you will learn:

  • Why yoga is the perfect compliment to a daily diabetes management plan.
  • What yoga styles are suited to various types of diabetes.
  • How yoga benefits someone living with diabetes.
  • A simple sequence that increases insulin sensitivity and reduces stress.
