Master Class: Chakras 102 with Cass

March 10 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

$10 – $25

Have you ever noticed how life events can manifest themselves in the physical body?

Or how a part of your body can continue to feel tight and restricted even after devoted physical attention?Cass will bring light to what the Chakras are, what they represent and how they can be used as a tool for physical, energetic and emotional balance.

Cass approaches the Chakras through a unique lens offering simplicity and clarity for all. You will work from the root Chakra to the crown Chakra incorporating discussion along the way. The intention of this workshops is for attendees to leave more grounded, creative, motivated, open, honest, clear and at peace.

This workshop is for everyone – whether you know what a “chakra” is or not. Cass will help you find connection in your body from the feet to the crown of head with attention and intention to help establish and build wholistic balance both on and off the mat.

In this second iteration of this popular workshop Cass will not only help you understand how these energy centers relate to our daily lives, but also to identify blockages and address them with simple and familiar yogic practices.

This will be a 50/50 class of movement and discussion – and you will be taught a simple daily sequence to take home with you for ongoing energetic balancing and personal assessment.

Bring a journal, yoga mat and the readiness to look inward.

SO WHAT’S A “MASTER CLASS”?

Don’t let the word “master” scare you, these classes are for everyone. Master classes are an invaluable way to grow and enrich an existing yoga practice. The teacher will demonstrate, breakdown and workshop designated postures and sequences—including alignment, benefits, and contraindications. This allows each practitioner to go into chosen postures with more depth and instructional detail than in a regular class. Master classes tend to focus on subtle, finer points within a pose, and can change one’s entire practice with a single A-ha moment.

Cass Hanson, who thinks “keeping it real” is the most valuable yoga we can practice.
