I didn’t intend to become a teacher, or discover yoga; it seems as though teaching yoga has found me, and I am very grateful to have the opportunity to share my knowledge and wisdom with students. Whether new to the practice, or very well-established, my hope is to assist you in finding an experience that is memorable in both your body and your breath. I emphasize breath in my classes, which I think is just as important as the pose (and yoga is just shapes and showiness without it). Ultimately, the challenges we face in our practice help us work through difficulty in all other areas of our lives and this is why we all continue to return to the mat.
I am certified with Yoga Alliance as a 500RYT. My learning experience stems from physical Ashtanga Vinyasa lineages with a spiritual emphasis.
