Holly Mathews

Holly started practicing yoga in 2007 while competing as a pole vaulter at the University of Wisconsin.  She quickly discovered that a regular yoga practice could reduce stress, heal injuries and deepen her connection to what she values most in life. In addition, Holly has many years of experience as an elite cyclist and continues to compete in road cycling on the national circuit.
Holly routinely says yoga is a practice, and it’s not about being perfect.  She encourages her students to embrace the power of movement for the mind and body and to become comfortable with being uncomfortable, as that is how she believes one opens themselves to growth. She is excited to join The Studio family and creates a fun-filled learning environment loaded with energy that will be sure to touch you mentally, physically, and spiritually.
