Melissa has always had a passion for fitness and living a healthy lifestyle. Growing up in rural Wisconsin she spent her childhood climbing trees and splashing through creeks. It was not until moving to Madison for college in 2006 that Melissa’s fitness program began to take a bit more structured approach when she was introduced to yoga, dance and group fitness classes. “Through yoga specifically I have found a deeper mind body connection within myself and continue to explore the sense of calm and joy that my practice brings me. I aim to share my enthusiasm and passion for fitness with others through my teaching.”
Melissa graduated from UW-Madison with a degree in Rehabilitation Psychology. She is a certified group fitness instructor and personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise.
