Now is an exciting time for Yoga. I am thrilled each time I witness the growth of the Yoga community beyond studio walls and into schools and even workplaces where more people can experience the benefits that Yoga offers our minds and bodies.

For me, Yoga started as way to exercise that I connected to as a former dancer and later became a practice of building resilience and connecting fully to the present moment. Through practice, I am capable of responding to challenges with the very best of my intentions both on the mat and in my daily life as a parent, spouse, and colleague.

Holding space for students who are making a precious investment in themselves when they come to class is a privilege. My goal is to offer a class that is both accessible and challenging and gives students small ways to bring Yoga into their homes, workplaces, or anywhere they may need it. In response to the stresses modern life puts on our bodies and minds, my classes aim to build resilience through a series of strong, flowing poses that emphasize alignment and connection to breath while empowering students at all levels.

Inspired to dive deeper into understanding the transformative power of Yoga and sharing the benefits with others, I became a 200 hr RYT through 21st Century Yoga on the Mat with Alex Pfeiffer at The Studio. I am honored to offer classes in the same space as some of the teachers who continue to inspire me.

I look forward to sharing and learning with you on your Yoga path – see you on the mat!
