Katie began her yoga journey many moons ago as a way to connect the body and the mind. After a decade or so of practice, she discovered she yearned to learn more about yoga and decided to take a 200 hour training program. She discovered that the more she learned about yoga, the more knowledge there was for her to acquire. Subsequently Katie completed a 500 hour training program which emphasized yin & restorative, yoga personal training, hands on assists, working with injuries and working with beginners. Katie believes that through yoga we can find balance: both in the body and in the mind. Katie’s style is supportive, fun, and filled with lots of options so that every yogi has a place and something new to explore in each pose. Outside of yoga, Katie has a passion for theatre and dance, and she believes that art imitates life.
